The Clear Path To Building a Successful Online Business

Is Six Figure Mentors A Scam?

SFM TrialIf you are thinking about joining Six Figure Mentors  or SFM then you should read this first. I will be looking into the program and training and answering the question, is Six Figure Mentors a scam? There are a lot of so called affiliate training programs out there that are claiming to be able to transform your life in record time. I will be examining some of the biggest ones and giving you my honest opinion.

Six Figure Mentors Review

Name: Six Figure Mentors (SFM)
Price: $29.95 + $97/month + $297 + $2,500/year + up to $20,000
Owners: Stuart Ross and Jay Kubassek
Easy Street Rating: 2 out of 5

Six Figure Mentors, Product Overview

This program is one of many that you will find on the internet. It aims to teach you all the skills needed to make a successful internet marketing business from the comfort of your own home.

SFM is split up into 5 modules of training and you have to complete the first in order to move on to the next. The $29.95 gets you access to the first introductory module and then you can upgrade at $97 within 3 days.

I joined this program  but did not carry on with it as I found a better program that offered much more value for money.

They will not let you move onto the next module until you have finished the first ones and they want you to complete a survey which asks you lots of personal questions about your monthly income and what you will be doing with the knowledge gained in the training modules. This is fine but I found it quite annoying to be honest and you just want to get on.

The first module does not cover a lot, it explains what you will be doing in the training and how you can make money online. This cost me $29.95. I got a load more knowledge for free with this alternative program.

You will need to upgrade to Basic in order to get Partial access to the SFM Digital Business System with the Attraction Marketing Module. The cost of the upgrade to the Basic membership is $197 plus a monthly fee of $97 if you upgrade within 3 days. Here is what you will get.

Who is this For?

If you have the money and the patience to wait for the slow coming modules then this is for you. In my opinion, if you do not intend to promote SFM, there is no point in joining the program. The modules are geared around the promotion of their own products.

The cost of this is very high and for this reason alone I would never get involved in the program.

I’m pretty sure that as advanced marketers you would not be willing to pay thousands or tens of thousands of dollars to get this knowledge? We all know that gaining knowledge in the internet marketing field should not cost that much.

You can get everything you need to know on YouTube these days so why pay all this money?

Tools & Training

I do agree with other reviews on this product. If you have a lot of money to spare and you are happy to pay these fees, then you do get a good solid training which has been written by professionals in the field. It’s high price and it is high quality no doubt, but I just think that you can get the same for a lot lot less.

There is certainly no lack of support here. There is a 24 hour community access where you can get your question answered and live calls where the will be happy to assist you during your training in the program.

My Opinion of SFM

There certainly is value in SFM. The products and training is very good and thorough but I do believe they have priced themselves right out of the market. They claim to be able to get your first affiliate payments in the first couple of weeks. I think this is crazy and quite unrealistic.

I takes time to build a solid foundation for an affiliate marketing business and a lot of hard work.

My opinion is leave this well alone unless you a lot of money to play with.

There are much better programs out there and at a fraction of the cost. I believe you can get your marketing business up and running with amazing training and support in your own time and you can even get your first web site up and running for free with this tool – Check it out here!

SFM is definitely NOT a scam. It is a legitimate program but at a very high cost. That is why I give them a 2 out of 5.

If you are serious about making money online, but you are working to a tight budget then I would suggest that you check this program out instead. I have personally tried and tested this program and highly recommend it.

  • Thank you for this review. I am not a big fan of companies that continually upsell you through out the process. They give you a little bit of information and then make you spend money to learn more.
I think a legitimate company should be upfront about what it will cost to be involved and successful so that you can make a decision that is right for you prior to spending money.

I agree with you. $20k seems like an awful lot of money to spend to learn affiliate marketing, especially when there are companies where you can get started for free.

      Hi Melissa,

Thanks for the post. This is the company that I almost joined before I got very lucky and found Wealthy Affiliate through another recommendation. It is a shame that there are companies out there that try to up sell all the way, so you really have to delve deep into your research before you commit to anything.

      Good Luck.

I certainly agree with your verdict that SFM is not a scam, but if the only way to make money is to promote the program itself, then I will pass up on it.

True, many people can make money with this but my opinion is that recruiting will one day come to a stop because though there are a lot of people on this Earth, people are either not going to be able to pay for the program or people are looking for a personal hobby / interest to promote.

I do affiliate marketing myself and I don’t pay nearly as much as this program, and I know that affiliate marketing can still give me the 6 figure income that I dream of. Definitely a waste of money to pay for training that costs this much when I can pay wayyyyy less somewhere else.

      Hi Rayhana

Yes you’re right there will come a time when the market for this will be saturated, could take a while but it will happen eventually. I guess they will have to adjust there direction along the way. Hopefully people will do their research before diving head first into these high ticket training programs that are designed to promote only itself.

      Best wishes
